STK Steakhouse

I had an amazing dining experience with Danny. He offered me great conversation I just moved to LA on Thursday so I decided to come here for a celebratory dinner and boy was I lucky to have him as my server. Extremely personable, social and suggestive. I had him pick my drinks and he was so knowledgeable about the menu choices that are available at the restaurant. I've been to STK plenty of times in Georgia but the options that are available in Los Angeles or a bit different and in a great way! I have the Delmonico dry aged steak, bacon mac & cheese, calamari, vodka cucumber and salmon, as well as the guava berry kiss and the unchained passion fruit cocktails. Will I recommend this location to anybody? Of course and I definitely see myself coming back here again. thank you so much Danny for welcoming me to Los Angeles with the pleasant experience that I had here today, I am definitely leaving this dinner optimistic about what's to come in the future for me in LA.

Service was great but the food really took it home. The steak and lobster were immaculately cooked to perfection. My personal favorite drinks was the cucumber stiletto, it was so refreshing and smooth. We ended our night with a dessert, the cheese cake was my personal favorite. Highly recommended this restaurant if you’re looking for a delicious steak, a great cocktail and overall a great atmosphere! 10/10

STK LA is located inside the hip and trendy W Hotel in Westwood. There is a rotating art installation and colorful accent lighting on the steps leading to the hotel lobby as well as throughout the hotel and STK. The bar has plenty of seating and the DJ was doing an artful job on Christmas Day spinning a variety of music - very cool vibes. The ambiance was even better because I was in excellent company. Ashley and Darrin greeted us upon entrance and Ashley seated us at our table. It had a beautiful view of the decor featured in one of my images attached to this review. Ashley was pleasant and professional and Darrin is an expert manager who handles customers with respect and ease, creating a welcoming environment. Helen was our server and she went out of her way to ensure an enjoyable experience. She chatted just enough and regularly checked in to make sure our needs were met. The staff was attentive and ensured that water was refilled, beverages were satisfactory and plates were promptly cleared. The meal started with the signature STK bread which was delicious but I only took a bite so as not to ruin my appetite. Next was the shrimp scampi which was sauteed to perfection. The portion was just enough to share. I ordered the Miso glazed Chilean Sea Bass which had a balanced sweet taste and was healthy and delicious. I tried a bite of the 10 oz Steak and it was great, but I was determined to continue enjoying my Sea Bass. We also ordered the brussel sprouts without bacon - no surprises there. The decor, atmosphere and service were excellent. A special thank you to all the management and staff, especially Darrin, who expertly requested that we transition from our dining table to the bar area so that people with reservations could be seated. This made everyone happy because by offering us another round on the house, even though I was drinking a non-alchoholic beverage, we were allowed to continue our conversation and enjoy the evening without interruption, and other customers with reservations were able to be seated. I am grateful for all the service providers who sacrificed time with their friends/family on Christmas Day to create a welcoming, pleasant, and amazing environment for all STK LA patrons. I highly recommend STK LA, Darrin and his Team, as well as any other behind-the-scenes folks who I did not have the opportunity to meet. I look forward to dining at STK LA again soon!

Had an incredible dinner here tonight. Started with the ceviche. That was Love the use of taro as a chip. The calamari was cooked excellent. Had two different sauces to accompany it and they both were great. My wife has the filet 6oz and it was cooked perfectly. I had the dry aged delmonico and that was worth every penny. We even had an A5 wagyu dish that was on their special that was phenomenal. The glaze or sauce they used for this dish balanced the dish. Don't forget about the Mac and cheese. Great side. The cocktails were also well balanced the service was as if I was at a Michelin restaurant. This place is great for someone who wants to have a real nice steak dinner. It won't disappoint. Also the ambiance is so nice there.

Wow I was blown out of town with this place 10/10 recommend I had the best experience ever here the food was absolutely delicious! Scrumptious actually 😋 pics don’t do justice the staff was so friendly as well made the restaurant feel very relaxing and the atmosphere was Stunning so many great photo opportunities ladies! It really turned into my new favorite restaurant after trying it my first time ! If you’re able to definitely check this place out and enjoy !

Went with a group of friends and had a fantastic time! The vibes are immaculate. I’ve gone twice and both times were amazing! I highly recommend for a birthday dinner or date night before going out. I highly recommend their watermelon cocktail - delicious I’m vegan and the restaurant went out of its way to accommodate me. We also went on a Friday and at a certain point they passed out shots to everyone in the restaurant - so fun!
